Youth and Kids Ministry Support within the International Ecumenical Fellowship (IEF)

The Youth and Kids Ministry within the IEF is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of younger members through several key focus areas:

1. Program Development
Creating age-appropriate programs that address the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of children and youth. This includes Sunday school classes, youth groups, and camps that provide safe spaces for learning and fellowship.


2. Leadership Training
Equipping volunteers and leaders with the skills and resources needed to effectively guide and mentor youth. Training covers topics like youth counseling, leadership skills, and event planning.


3. Curriculum Resources
Offering engaging, biblically-based curriculum materials that connect with children and youth. These resources help leaders teach important values in a relatable way.


4. Community Engagement
Encouraging youth participation in community service and outreach programs to develop a sense of responsibility and empathy while building connections within the church and community.


5. Fostering Relationships
Strengthening peer relationships and mentor bonds through small group discussions, mentorship programs, and social activities that build a sense of community.


6. Family Involvement
Engaging families through events, workshops, and resources that support spiritual growth at home. This involvement reinforces lessons from church and promotes a holistic approach to faith.


7. Diversity and Inclusion
Embracing the diverse backgrounds of participants, ensuring programs are inclusive and culturally sensitive, and reflecting IEF’s core values.


8. Spiritual Formation
Encouraging personal and communal spiritual practices, such as prayer, worship, and scripture study, tailored to the developmental stages of youth and children.


9. Evaluation and Feedback
Regularly assessing program effectiveness and gathering feedback from participants and families to ensure the ministry remains relevant and responsive to the community's needs.
